Many species poison dart frogs are threatened. These amphibians are often called dart frogs. Most species of poison dart frogs small sometimes less than 1.5 cm in adult length although some grow to 6 cm in length. They weigh about 2 grams depending on the size of the frog. Poison dart frogs have bright colors to warn people and other animals to stay away.
